What You Can Do With Your Halloween Pumpkins?
When Halloween is over and you’re left with a pumpkin that’s starting to go off, don’t just bin it – make the most of it! Here are some great ways to reuse your Halloween pumpkin.
Make a pumpkin soup

A great way to use up any leftover pumpkin flesh. Simply roast the flesh with some onions and garlic, then blend with chicken or vegetable stock.
make a pie or cheesecake

Use pumpkin flesh to make a pie – sweet or savoury, it’s your call. You could even make a no-bake pumpkin cheesecake.

They make a great healthy snack. Just toss them in a little oil and salt, then bake in a low oven until golden.
Make pumpkin puree

This can be used in all sorts of recipes, from cakes and muffins to pasta sauces.
Turn into a planter

Simply hollow out the centre and fill with soil. You can then plant some spring bulbs in it, which will flower in the spring.
So, next time you’re left with a pumpkin after Halloween, don’t throw it away – put it to good use!
